  14.     The WinOnLine REVIEW is distributed in the Windows HELP (.HLP) 
  15. file format.  To view the HELP file, simply unzip it into your Windows 
  16. directory and double click on the file name WOLRxx.HLP.
  17.  
  18.     If it does not automatically load into the WinHelp program then you 
  19. will need to attach the extension (.HLP) to that program.  You do that by 
  20. locating the [extensions] section of your WIN.INI file and add the 
  21. following line to it:

  23.                           HLP=WINHELP.EXE ^.HLP
  24.  
  25.     After you add the above line, exit and restart Windows.
  26.  
  27.     Once you make that association you should not have to do it again.  
  28. You can now read all .HLP (HELP) files by simply clicking on them with 
  29. your mouse.

  31.     Another way to view our HELP file is to simple "RUN" the program
  32. WINHELP.EXE and load our file into it.

  34.     As of Issue #57 you may need to view our HELP file by using the 
  35. Windows Help engine for Windows v3.1

  39. File dated 3/10/92.  If you are running Windows v3.0 you will need to get
  40. the Windows v3.1 file named above. It is the Win v3.1 version of the help
  41. engine.  The reason is that our HELP files are now compiled with that v3.1
  42. compiler which requires the WINHELP.EXE from Win v3.1 to view our HELP
  43. file.

  45.     As our magazine size grows we continue to look for ways to reduce our 
  46. file size while giving you more in every issue. The new Win 3.1 compiler 
  47. produces a much smaller help file and for that reason we have made the 
  48. change. I hope it is not too troubling to our Windows 3.0 users.
